IMOCO4.E project at "The European Chips Act - Perspectives for Europe's Semiconductor Regions"

IMOCO4E at "The European Chips Act - Perspectives for Europe's Semiconductor Regions" organised by the Free State of Saxony, Germany | 6. March 2023.

 

With a deep dive into the European Chips Act's impact on the region's innovation ecosystem, the evening was kicked off by European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton, following a panel discussion with European Parliament's Dan Nica, European Investment Bank's Harald Gruber, Saxon State Minister for Development Thomas Schmidt and The CEO of Infineon Technologies Jochen Hanebeck.

 

The discussions revolved around Europe's innovation potential and the capacity to deliver next generation solutions to critical technological bottlenecks faced across the semiconductor production industry.

 

As a key initiative for the semiconductor industry, IMOCO4E's strategic aim to advance semiconductor production (pilot 2) found ground and consistency with the direction of Europe's key sectoral growth & innovation initiative.
