Pilot 3 Open Webinar: Hardware and Software solutions for edge-cloud AI implementation in High-Speed Packaging Machines

On April 10th, our Pilot 3 Open Webinar explored a set of hardware and software solutions designed to efficiently run AI algorithms on both edge devices and fog servers. The target scenario focused on high-speed packaging machines, where automation transforms raw materials into desired packages while minimizing human intervention.

The seminar was thoughtfully structured around four fundamental themes:

  1. Introducing a Novel Hardware Architecture for On-Edge AI Algorithms: This session introduced an innovative hardware architecture specifically designed to support the execution of AI algorithms directly on edge devices.
  2. Establishing a Robust Data Transmission System in the Fog Environment and Facilitating Concurrent Data Access: This session illustrated how to create a reliable system for transmitting data within fog environments, enabling multiple processes to access data concurrently.
  3. Enhancing Machine Health Status Monitoring: This theme dived into AI algorithms developed to automatically monitor the health status of your packaging machines, promoting preventative maintenance and improved uptime.
  4. Enhancing Product Quality Control Processes: This session deep dived into AI algorithms designed to elevate your current product quality control procedures, ensuring consistent and exceptional product quality.
